About Marcus Steen
Steen Media is a one-man agency built on the idea that it is not headcount that creates results, but skill level and process. I work exclusively with paid social on Meta and TikTok for a handpicked portfolio of e-commerce brands.
My clients are ambitious DTC brands that have scaled past the startup phase and want a partner who lifts the strategic and operational level without three layers of account management in between.
Getting here has been about building a solo setup where process frees up time for the work that actually moves the business. I am also very critical of Meta and TikTok's own attribution, so I put real work into incrementality and conversion lift studies.
Today I operate across 32 markets with annual spend above 190,000,000 DKK.
How Marcus Steen works
My clients are typically larger e-commerce companies, live in several markets, spending at least 300,000 DKK a month on Meta and/or TikTok.
The collaboration is direct and close. No middlemen. I sit on the accounts myself, build the campaign structure, brief the creatives, and make decisions together with the client.
Where Adtool fits
Adtool is crucial for my operations. It is part of what makes the solo setup possible at all, because the operational efficiency keeps launches, structure changes, and constant adjustments from eating the day.
The time I would otherwise spend manually setting up ads in the account goes to client value and the bigger decisions instead: the work that actually moves the business.
Peak season, solo
In Q4 2025, Adtool made my life significantly easier. Peak season is the most launches in the least time, and on top of that comes more planning, new campaign structures, and constant changes across every market at once.
That workload is exactly where a solo setup would normally crack. It simply would not be possible without a lean, effective setup, and Adtool is a big part of what keeps it that lean.
What matters in Meta advertising today
There are a few things.
1. Andromeda and creative strategy. Creative matters even more now. Diversity > volume, and a very fixed plan for ad taxonomy and testing is a must have.
2. Incrementality. We all know, deep down, that Meta is quite generous with attribution on ROAS. True incrementality has never been more important.
3. Partnership ads. Without a doubt the creative format I see as the most scalable in 2026.
